Who is the personal data controller?

Processing the personal data obtained from this form will be the responsibility of the Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (hereinafter, the “FUOC”), with Tax Identification Number G60667813 and registered address at Avinguda del Tibidabo, 39 - 43, 08035 Barcelona. If you have any queries concerning the processing of personal information, you can contact the Data Protection Officer using the following channels:

For what purpose will the personal data be processed? For how long?

The personal data obtained from this form will be processed with the purpose of managing and answering, if applicable, the suggestions, comments or proposals received.

The personal data will be processed by the FUOC for the purposes stated above for such time as they are necessary for replying to your suggestions.

Upon completion of the above-stated period, the FUOC will keep the personal data blocked for such time as they may give rise to legal liabilities. When these liabilities expire, the personal data will be deleted permanently.

What is the legal basis for processing the data?

The legal basis for processing the personal data is the data subject's consent.

However, the consent given can be withdrawn at any time, using one of the channels listed in the section "What are my rights?" in this document.

What security measures have been implemented to protect my personal data?

The FUOC will keep your personal data strictly confidential. In addition, it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee their security and prevent their destruction and loss, illicit access to them, and illicit tampering of them. In deciding these measures, criteria such as the scope, context and purpose of the processing, the current state of the art and the existing risks have been taken into account.

Does the FUOC disclose personal data to third parties?

The FUOC will disclose personal data to third parties if it is necessary to comply with the legal obligations that may be applicable in each case.

In order to exercise these rights, you must send a notice to the FUOC, either by email to the address dpd@uoc.edu or by post to Avinguda del Tibidabo, 39 - 43, (08035) Barcelona, stating as reference "Data Protection". The request must include a copy of your National Identity Document or equivalent identification document and the minimum content set forth in applicable legislation. If the request does not meet the specified requirements, we may ask you to make the necessary corrections. There is no charge for exercising these rights, although a fee may be charged in the case of requests that are groundless, excessive or repetitive.
