Thesis defense

On Thursday the 18th, February 2020, Josep Grau-Valldosera obtained his Ph.D. Degree after defensing his thesis entitled “A dropout definition for continuance intention and effective re-enrolment models in online distance learning“, within the UOC Education and ICT (e-learning) Doctoral programme. The thesis was supervised by Julià Minguillón.

In this thesis, two main contributions are discussed:

1. A dynamic definition for effectively measuring dropout in flexible enrollment scenarios (such as distance / open universities). This was partially published here: http://www.irrodl.org/index.php/irrodl/article/view/1628
